The new fuel uses less carbon that other motor fuels and more ethanol. The current grade of petrol known as E5 currently as 5% ethanol whereas, the new E10 petrol has 10%.
This new petrol could cut carbon emissions by 750,000 tonnes a year. Which is the equivalent of taking 350,000 cars off the road!!!
Every vehicle built after 2011 should use E10. If you are unsure if your vehicle uses the fuel or you want more information you can check on the Government website:
Please make sure you vehicle is compatible with the new fuel before use, as it could potentially cause damage to the engine if not.
